You might call this mythical figure a
gargoyle but actually it is a grotesque.
A true gargoyle is a waterspout, usually
with a long neck to drain water away from
the sides of a building. For an authentic
carved stone look, spray him with a faux
granite "Fleck Stone" finish. $3.00
This wizard seems to be having a bad
day. He has a lot on his mind so he
isn't a typical wizard's pose. He doesn't
have to be a wizard though- few minor
adjustments to the basic pattern can
turn him into any deep-in-thought
figure. $3.00
A slight twist to her torso and the
determined expression on her face
make this fantasy woman warrior
an interesting project. Fantasy art
provides many variations for her
clothing so create your own version
of how you'd have her look. $3.00
He's a medieval musicmaker, a jester
who was responsible for entertaing
the king's guests- the "American Idol"
of his day . Be sure to paint him with
loud, bright colors. $3.00
The legendary Kokopelli. An in-the-
round stylized version of this mysterious
Southwestern figure. This project looks
best carved in hardwood with a natural
finish rather than being painted. $3.00
"The Haunted House" is a twofold project.
The house scene is a relief carving and
the figure running away from the house
is carved in-the-round and attached to it
so that he is actually running away, out
of the framed picture. $4.00
This fantasy female is ready to do battle
with whoever, or whatever, she meets.
She is designed to be walking down a
stepping stone base such as stone steps
leading to the lower regions of a castle.
She's a challenge but a real interesting
project. $3.00
Trolls have distinctive features. Some are
dwarfs, some are giants. All have long crooked
noses, four fingers and toes and most of
them have long bushy tails. You may carve
him but don't make him angry. Their wrath
is mentioned with fear and trembling in
gnome legends. $3.00
You'll recognize the Manga influence
in this project. Manga was the catalyst
for the Japanese animation industry
(anime) whose characters became the
primary influence for the video game
industry. $3.00
