Ol' Don now has his patterns, and more, available as .pdf file downloads, making them readily accessible for those in a hurry (and you know who you are).

Choosing your favorite subject from the drop down menu at the left will take you to a list of available patterns related to that subject.

All patterns are full size with front, profile and sometimes a top view.

Most patterns also included a brief commentary along with several reference views showing the subject from a variety of angles.

Here are a pair of birdwatchers. She sees birds,
her cat sees dinner on the fly. The woman could
also be holding a camera instead of binoculars.
Think about how you can modify projects to
make them different from the original. $8.00

popular workshop projects and will give you
a lot of practice carving hair texture as you
learn how to make hair flow around his arms
and legs. $8.00
This old boy has a lot of memories about
things that happened and even some that
didn't. This is a pretty simple pose with
no hands to carve. A good project for a

with your favorite teams colors and/or your
favorite player's number. $8.00
I call this little girl "Sweetie Pie". She is
the personification of innocence with her

could be made to look a bit like your
daughter or grand daughter. $8.00
He's a Friday night beer frame split picker.
If you're a bowler or know one, carve and
personalize this project with your team's
colors and shirt logo. Would make a great
addition to your trophy cabinet. $8.00
I've heard that Santa stuffs stockings and
though I don't quite think this is what was
intended, it makes a cute carving and could
even be used as a tree ornament by reducing
the size of the pattern a little bit. $8.00
"I saw Mama...", you know the song. Here
is Santa holding a sprig of mistletoe over
his head and, of course, Mama takes the
hint. Santa is the carving project but a Mama
pattern is included so you can complete the
scene.$8.00
Critters in glass houses should never...
well, they're fun to carve anyway. A mouse
is the project but just about any critter
can be done by changing the head. $8.00
Personalize this little leaguer by putting
your son or grandson's number and team
colors on him. Makes a great trophy for
your favorite young ballplayer. $8.00

and a caricature female face. The whole
processcan be used to carve friendship
cane segments as well. $8.00
If you want to learn to carve female faces,
this shelf sitter with her long hair hanging
over the edge of the shelf is a good starting
project. $8.00
Uh oh! Has Santa found himself stuck in the
chimney or has he suddenly realized there is
a fire in the fireplace? $8.00
Remember Bill Haley? Carl Perkins? Gene Vincent?
Jerry Lee? and that fellow from Tupelo with only
one name? Relive those rockin' 50s by carving this
rockabilly project. $8.00
